the problem of sloppy storage of writings

originally written on 25 june 2021.

at this very moment, are you reading this text from a computer screen, a phone screen or a piece of paper? let’s say you are reading it from a piece of paper, is it of a clothbound book or a single sheet of paper? is it squared, ruled or plain? in all cases, i do not believe you are reading it from what i am writing on. therefore, i do not believe i will read it from what i am writing on. therefore, nobody is reading anything in its original medium.

i am not interested in its rightness, it is the fear of being incapable of reading my own works at a later time. i do not want to spend a month or two to compile my writings. besides, if it is taking me that much time to perform such task, i am sure i would miss something. i do not want to be have to compile my writings, at all. i do not want to work that way. i want to work in a way that my works are already compiled. therefore, i need a unification: a unified system of storing works.

i still want to use a pen and a paper if i feel the need to. i still want to type with my laptop’s keyboard to a vim screen to produce 43-character long lines. i still want to fine typeset square or a4 papers with \(\TeX\). so, as i said, i need a unification.
